Afterwards, grab any toothbrush, dip it in baking soda and rub the areas with stains that still haven’t come off after the vinegar. Finally, after letting it wait for a bit, you can use warm water to rinse of the residues. You can mix the water with a little bit of bleach for more effective results as well.

To get soot out of your clothes, you have two options. First option is dipping your clothing item in cold water and leaving it there fore 15 minutes and later washing it normally. The second option is filling your tub or washbowl in warm water and adding 1 cup of baking soda in it. Then mix the solution and leave your clothing item in the solution overnight.  In the morning, you can wash it normally.
